Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined places during industrial and construction jobs. They are also known for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. 360° continuous rotating turntables offer quick, easy positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously unreachable by standard jibs. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This particular feature allows over and up reaching jobs to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system that allows for valuable time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to descend and ascend, increasing production and efficiency.
