Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck providing versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person utilizing it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform which is meant to lift personnel is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
