Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of forklifts, presses, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
The company started crane production during the year 1963. Eventually, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently produces and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for various applications and there are units available to cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has several extremely flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private houses and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other units include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both user friendly and really adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are outfitted with 12000 kg capacity. These cranes are specifically designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated near each other.
