Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Back-Up or Motion Alarms:
The audible devices like motion alarms or back-up alarms generate sound that has to be very loud to be heard above the sound that the forklift generates in the operating place.
The sound needs to be readily discernible from other audible devices or sounds in the work setting. Sound must be readily discernible from other sound or audible devices in the work area. The audible device could end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; therefore, care needs to be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to distinguish what direction and distance it is coming from. Audible devices could occasionally get disabled from both operators and employees because they could find them really irritating. Moreover, audible devices may also be objectionable to residents nearby.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are used to help prevent injuries and reduce other problems. Additionally, these cabs feature an emergency exit via removing the window. The levels of noise are reduced at the operator's ear due to additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: The operator could choose the performance requirement for the specific use. Furthermore, it allows a supervisor to set the maximum performance of a unit for an operator who is just learning. Being able to reduce and adjust the maximum performance of the unit allows a new operator to learn the machine's operating characteristics in a controlled setting.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is deactivated, a supervisor is required to activate and override the model. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the equipment in a more controlled way.
Panoramic and Dual Rear View Mirrors: These particular mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
